On October 17, 2013, Law Practice, a professional lawyer’s journal, named Ukraine’s best corporate lawyers as part of their Top 50 Legal Departments of Ukraine award.
During an awarding ceremony, corporate legal departments were awarded prizes in 9 industries: machine-building, farming and food processing sector, telecommunications, trade, banking, oil and gas, energy, transport and infrastructure, metallurgy. In the farming and food processing sector, the Best Legal Department designation was awarded to the Legal Department of Avangardco IPL.
Each contender was evaluated and scored on a number of criteria, e.g. overall performance (as measured by the number of contracts, claims, court cases and internal policies handled), court representation performance, number and credentials of corporate lawyers and reputation enjoyed from the legal profession.
