The Second Friday of October is a great day both for all lovers of eggs and various dishes made of this flexible product, and for producers around the world. In 1996 at its annual conference in Vienna, the International Egg Commission initiated the World Egg Day! The Commission confirms that there are at least a dozen of reasons to celebrate the Egg Day, and many countries, especially egg producers, supported the idea of celebrating this holiday.
And it comes as no surprise as egg is the most flexible food product, mainly because there are plenty of methods to consume it, and it is an integral part of the national cuisine of all countries! In addition, egg is a source of protein, vitamins and minerals which are vitally important to human health, to say nothing of its attractive price. This makes it much more popular worldwide among consumers with different income levels.
That’s why this year AVANGARDCO IPL along with other international manufacturers of eggs and egg products joins the initiative of the International Egg Commission and celebrates the International Egg Day. This year we conducted a drawing contest for children of the Company’s employees. The competition was attended by children of two age groups: up to eight years and eight to twelve years. Young artists were to develop the topic "Such an interesting egg life." Results of the contest exceeded our expectations! After all, children's imagination has no limits, and this competition serves as evidence to that. The six winners of the competition will win a summer holiday in the International Children Center "Artek".
